About the artist:

Beau Carnes is a self-taught painter residing in Denver, CO. His work explores classical techniques, digital aesthetics, and questions of ontology, using painting to investigate the unstable boundaries between physical and virtual experience. Through images that feel simultaneously familiar and estranged, he examines how contemporary technologies shape perception, memory, and our understanding of reality. His work has appeared in exhibitions at Meow Wolf and various group shows, and is held in various private collections.
